SPEC 08 / GENCODED

Select the model against the task.

A model label is not a compatibility contract.

Unfiltered or uncensored AI coding can mean different things across model and provider setups. Evaluate the actual endpoint, model version, and application configuration. Gencoded's approach is to measure architectural fit on a representative task rather than infer reliability from a label.

Make the comparison reproducible

Use the same repository snapshot, brief, context, and expected behavior for each candidate. Begin with read-only analysis. Compare source accuracy, respect for existing interfaces, and willingness to identify missing information. Record the configuration so that a later model or provider change does not silently invalidate your conclusions.

Check the operational requirements

Confirm supported request formats, tool-use behavior, context limits, and credential handling in the selected documentation. Inspect how repository data is processed and retained before sharing it. Different providers may apply different behavior to related models. No setup described here guarantees unrestricted output, unlimited speed, fixed cost, or an independently verified privacy posture.

FIXTURE
One repository state and one precise brief.
CRITERIA
Correctness, fit, uncertainty, useful evidence.
RECORD
Endpoint, model identifier, configuration, date.

WORKING REQUEST / SPEC 08

Read the existing storage adapter without editing.
Explain its public contract using source references.
Identify a small extension and its compatibility risks.
List required checks and unresolved assumptions.

Model flexibility and engineering correctness require separate evaluation.

Shared reference: connector settings list external integrations. Exact capabilities depend on the application and chosen setup. Reference desktop preview; final product screens may differ.
